Grade 4
Students are encouraged to think, analyze, and make connections across subjects. In reading, they will analyze the books they read and are encouraged to relate concepts to their own lives and thoughts. In writing, students will be encouraged to introduce facts to support and strengthen arguments. In math, students will continue to learn the four operations with multi-step word problems and multi-digit numbers and will extend their understanding of fractions.
