Read & Write Decodables Set B

This set of Read & Write Decodables provides children with an opportunity to apply their handwriting skills alongside their newly developing phonics skills. 

This set covers letter sounds taught in Phases 5 and 5.5 of our comprehensive phonics Scope and Sequence, displayed on the front cover of each book. Phase 5.5 Sound Family decodables introduce alternative vowel sounds so that children can become familiar with phonemes being represented by different graphemes. Each page represents a target letter sound from the respective daily lesson in the accompanying Teacher Planner, which has been highlighted in the text through color-coding. Handwriting lines guide children’s writing for the formation of both ascenders and descenders.
